Makes her way to North Carolina......Does anyone have any idea what catergory she will be??? Just curious if it will be like reliving Hurricane Fran back in 1996 or worse. Thanks!!! :?:

NC Gal... In my opinion, if she makes her way to NC she'll be a Cat 3 or even a strong Cat 2.

The reason why I believe it will weaken is because even if it travels over the Gulf Stream, troughs and ridge weaknesses tend to weaken systems.

I believe she'll be a Cat 3 if she comes you guys way

I dont think North Carolina has seen a hurricane since Floyd in 99'. Lets hope we can keep things that way for years to come!
