ATL: GABRIELLE - Remnants - Discussion

IT IS ENTIRELY POSSIBLE THAT THE
LOW-LEVEL CIRCULATION WILL DISSIPATE IN THE NEXT 24 HOURS. ASSUMING
THAT GABRIELLE SURVIVES...ONLY LIMITED INTENSIFICATION IS SHOWN
LATER IN THE PERIOD AS THE SHEAR INCREASES DRAMATICALLY AHEAD OF AN
UPPER-LEVEL TROUGH.
Hmmmm... maybe short lived they say.

it just seems like there is too much energy this time around. But it is the season for wimpy storms so nothing will surprise me.

Although reading between the lines tells you the NHC probably believes that the NE system will not develop, they did a major dodge on discussing the interaction between these two systems. And I can't say I blame them, lol.

It almost looks like Gabrielle is trying to tap into the energy of the east feature on the rainbow loop. Like 2 hand reaching out to one another.

Too much convective energy for this to dissipate; either of these systems will develop and cancel out the dry air. Also NHC basing some of there reasoning on data that is 2-3 hours old. Season does not end untill November.

Is this post correct, I didn't see the GFDL flopping back westward??

Wow a huge mood change! Before the advisory many people were saying this was going to be an interesting storm to track now suddenly after the advisory many are saying that this storm is going to die soon and it shouldn't of been named! Make up your mind!

Looking at this it looks like the GFDL does goes west to wnw the whole time and doesn't even cross any of the islands. While the CMC and the NGX doesn't initiate correctly and has Gabby die right away.

That is the nature of the beast and this board, we always agree to disagree, that is what makes this board so wonderful, just wish not so many people would not be rude and ugly towards others in some of the posts though. Now it would be a lot easier if you are not a Pro-Met to put the disclaimer as your signature, that way there is no misunderstanding that it is just your opinion or whatever.

LOL that's storm2k! IMHO this has been fascinating and still is. I'm learning a lot from it and this will be invaluable input for future model upgrades. And it is FAR from over in any sense. The people who get flooded tonight and tomorrow would tell you that.
