If Gabrielle was a TD overnight with no convection near the center, then this system certainly is a TD. No doubt on the LLC. Will probably be a hurricane at landfall near or north of Tampico Sunday afternoon/evening.

It looks pretty disorganized right now, severely lacking deep convection.

Taking a lot longer to develop than I thought it would.

May even wait until Monday afternoon from what I've seen.

Going to be devastating for Mexico regardless.

What are the chances of this system pulling a Karl 2010?

probably very low, as Karl was already at 100mph by this point as far as latitude.
