Recon is not even close to the center an it's finding 50 mile-per-hour winds

They will take off from MacDill AFB and recover there eight hours later. Below is the proposed flight pattern. The numbers on the figure represent the turn points that the aircraft will make. The red dots in the figure show the locations that launch weather balloons twice a day. The flight pattern is very similar to their previous flight."

Interesting to go back a day or two and see what pro mets (and others) were saying about Ingrid and potential strengthening. It appears she's an aggressive woman and ahead of schedule.

Any forecasts under my name are to be taken with a grain of salt. Get your best forecasts from the National Weather Service and National Hurricane Center.

Personally, I doubt it. She seems like she is determined and headed in the direction of her choosing - Mexico.
