Guys, do NOT be alarmed, if this is the end of Humberto. I am not saying it is going to happen, but the LLC is weakening.

I can't rule out, this system may become something like Epsilon in 2005. showers are wrapping around, looks better now, I think.

Humberto currently doesn't look like that subtropical-ish IMO

Nice comparison. You could be right.
Luis, this could be our first annular cane in a while if it makes hurricane again, which a lot of the models still say it will. Starting to look annular already. Since an annular form is very stable, it has a better chance of holding on and getting to hurricane again with this structure. But first it needs to get more symmetrical again. Way too asymmetrical at the moment.

I can't remember the last one. Anyone have an idea? I will try to look later this evening.

The last bona-fide annular hurricane here may have been Isabel in 2003.

Humberto's best track has been downgraded to 35 knots. Sorry to say, but it looks really bad right now.

Yes, yesterday it looked much better, now it is nothing compared to Epsilon.

Continues to look very sad right now, unless something drastic happens, I anticipate no further strengthening, beyond possible brief 5 mph fluctuations.

Best Track down to a TD. I must remark that this doesn't even look like a tropical cyclone to me, just an area of small clouds with some rotation.

Re: ATL: HUMBERTO - Tropical Depression - Discussion
Weak low-level swirl appears to have dissipated. Humberto is being absorbed by the approaching front...
