I see no indication that the very weak disturbance about 500 miles north of Puerto Rico poses much development threat. Models are developing something else in around a week near the Bahamas.

How about that area maybe 300 or 400 miles east of the leewards? There is high vorticity over the area and fairly low shear. Nice convection firing.
