AN AREA OF DISTURBED WEATHER HAS FORMED OVER THE BAY OF CAMPECHE.
NO SIGNIFICANT DEVELOPMENT OF THIS SYSTEM IS EXPECTED AS IT DRIFTS
SOUTHWARD OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS. THIS SYSTEM HAS A LOW
CHANCE...10 PERCENT...OF BECOMING A TROPICAL CYCLONE DURING THE
NEXT 48 HOURS AND A LOW CHANCE...10 PERCENT...OF BECOMING A
TROPICAL CYCLONE DURING THE NEXT 5 DAYS.

This is what i have been waiting for. The last minor threat of the season. The Fort Lauderdale Boat show would not be complete without a hint of a weather event next week.

There seems to be more substantial spin there today, however, pressures are really high...but the buoys are reporting some pretty hefty winds. Some are sustained 30kts out of the N to NE

Right now the low is frontal but things in that area need to be watched, but seeing as the shear is high that would be a major negative in possible development

Winds in the area are running sustained above 30kts out of the N at the buoy in BOC, and they are just as strong out of NNW on the coast. Pressures have also fallen slightly.
