Looks to me it wont undergo any change until it climbs up to 11.4N 126E then it will intensify a little.

Very impressive and deadly system. PAGASA's website is overloaded at the moment. They need to invest more in their website capacity because during situations like this, the best defense is preparedness and knowing the correct information.

It's nice to see the 2 major networks giving this typhoon a lot of coverage(ABS-CBN and GMA). The media here has a tendency to be too metro manila centric so it's nice to see them giving haiyan significant coverage despite the visayas track.

^Off-topic though, this supertyphoon was easily eclipsed by a televised Senate hearing on multi-billion corrupted public funds.

btw, I see no warnings from JTWC. Something's wrong with their website...

Intensity remains at 150 knots but likely on the low side as haiyan has continued to strengthen...

We are used to watching tropical storms intensify into typhoon and typhoons in strong typhoons but haiyan has intensified from the upper strength of a category 5 to super duper uncharted levels for like 3 times...more like a category 6 if there is one!

My question is how this isn't a steady T#8.0. I mean just look at those perfect grays!!!!
This is, in my opinion, a perfectly organised tropical cyclone that isn't getting fully recognised. I am almost certain that sustained winds in there must be well over 150 knots, based on...
