10 PM NEWS IS ABOUT TO AIR HERE..

#1 Postby Josephine96 » Thu Sep 11, 2003 8:54 pm

and every night I've been watching Glenn Richards on the Central Florida Fox affiliate.. It seems like every night he's been growing more concerned about Florida.. especially CENTRAL Florida... Will his tone change..?

Thing I hate is the day after tomorrow is Saturday lol.. which means all the Chief Mets are gone for the weekend... :( which means the "cold front bandwagon" jumpers will return...

Oh the irresponsiblities of local mets lol

*scratching head* You guys get news at 10 in Florida? What happened to ER?

I had the worst time after I moved here from KY, getting used to everything being an hour earlier -- ER at 9 instead of 10, news at 10 instead of 11. Then when I go back to KY for Christmas, it completely throws off my sleep pattern. And it's just one hour lag...go figure.

Bill Kamal said nothing we dont already know. He mentioned that the High currently stearing Isabel is the determining factor as to whether Isabel will recurve or continue towards the east coast. He also mentioned that it also depends on the extent to which the trough digs into the east coast.

Richards got the opening story and compared Isabel to a "buzz saw in the Atlantic that would wipe anything clean...

He also mentioned how much of a threat it was to Florida and the east coast of the US..

These are not my words, but the words of the Fox news weatherman....
Very, Very close to the central coast of Florida, then a turn to the North. Very dangerous situation for all the East Coastline.
More on this storm, and how close (possibly) this will get to Florida...

Duck, the Fox affiliates (and even some WB affiliates) have news at 10:00 PM Eastern. The NBC, CBS and ABC affiliates have their newscasts at 11:00 PM Eastern.

John, I saw FOX35 chief meteorologist Glenn Richards for about a minute, at approximately 10:35 PM and he said that Isabel is expected to pass several miles east of the peninsula (the green line). Which I think is too bold of a prediction at this time.

He didn't say what the line that went toward and into Florida meant. (I believe it was blue)
