Is the spotty activity around austin right now just the calm before the storm? Will coverage and intensity pick up once the low moves closer? Are we still looking at a 6-9pm timeframe for the heaviest precip?

One of those legendary temperature extremes in the great state of Texas. There's been bigger ones but this still amazes me every time.

Gosh Something, remember back in 2014 when it snowed and sleeted in Houston. Boy was that a gas..my goodness. I am glad we can enjoy the 80 degree temperatures this January 24...:)
