We already established that SirCane *smiles pleasently* See his Help post earlier this week.

BUT (and this is a major major BUT) I'm wishing you all the best of luck, smooth flying, and easy/safe 'cane chasing Chaser :) I'd LOVE a full report when you get back- it'll be the closest I, personally, will ever get to a cat5 :)

Yeah, if you've got to attempt this, well ... May the best of luck be with you. If you survive, please fill us in on the experience in detail when you get back. God bless.

A full report will be one of the things I will provide. Footage of the before, during and after and as much detail as possible. I am crazy enough to do this but also hope I can provide useful information which will prove useful for future study!!! In addition, there are not many from the UK who can say they have experienced a Cat 5 if this does happen and I reckon it will be an invaluable teaching aid to the UK based weather enthusiast!! Thanks for everyones well wishes too!!!

Be careful if you choose to experience Isabel! Very, very careful.

I would too like to experience a hurricane but not something like Isabel. Something more like Claudette in terms of intensity would be OK with me probably though.

I think we are all a bit jealous. I know I would like to experience a hurricane. Of course it would need to be on a deserted island in a super strong hurricane and flood proof structure. I dont want to get hurt and I like my home. I would rather experience the power without having to see the devastation and horror associated. If you do chase Isabell remember to try to keep yourself safe as possible.
