That actually bodes well for the Carlina's! The first local official they put up is a sure indication of where the storm is not going. Every major news station was in my town for Georges, and it turned out to be a beautiful day!

You are right zoeyann. Everyone was watching and waiting for the devastation that was to be visited on New Orleans (and it could have happened) for Georges and we missed most of him--thank God! It looks to me that if you are in the direct predicted path the safer you are. If that holds true I guess we should all be wishcasting-LOL.
