But if it pushes south before going on a more SW - NE motion then it won't matter? I dunno.

Looks like the radar returns should begin to amplify around here in the next hour. I think the composite view shows where areas of sleet are much better. Currently 27 with a glaze of sleet/freezing rain on exposed surfaces. The water vapor loop and satellite imagery sure look favorable for keeping this even going throughout the day. I guess we'll see.

I try not to look at the radar too much. You can convince yourself it is going to fly past you. Maybe it will but I sure hope not. Just earlier people were saying it was filling in beautifully and was further out west which should mean more precip for us. Maybe the southward movement will slow down soon?

Ok…I was just looking at the north side of the radar. I believe is an illusion. Looking at the south side of the radar, I notice moisture is not sinking at all.

This is why the band is shifting south. Hopefully it will slow down and become more strung out west to east movement like last week. Remember it did the exact same thing. But on the other hand the latest Nam could be right and have it blowing through with just a thin band by the time it gets here. That's why it showed only .10in accumulation. Out west does look interesting though.

From WV that looks like a LOT of moisture that will be hitting Louisiana.

From the WV loop, does it seem to you guys that it might actually expand the north line/slow southern movement very soon?

I give up…seems like all simulated radars wanna cut our time with moisture short.
I'm not seeing a let up in the field of moisture nose diving south.

I'm confused as to how we are getting hammered by the virga storm while Mississippi to our east is getting hammered with real stuff
