Just got back in, it's finally starting to rain here. Temp says 31 degrees, but I'm not sure if I can trust it. It looked like there were a few sleet pellets mixed in, but nothing to really get excited about.

At least there is something falling out of the sky. It's been so long.

Looks like the precip is winding down. Hopefully we see a flurry on the back end.

That heavy band sits out west it seems like all day, then when it gets close to you it seems as if it picks up speed and wants to quickly move east!

This is too good, lol. Should be a framed quote for all events.

What do you mean? if you look at the 1 hour total the storm has been cycling, as one band starts to weaken, another one forms and starts to strengthen. I have already seen it do this twice and it is happening right now as we speak. I only hope I get hit with a band at it's most intense moment.

@NWSFortWorth: Latest aircraft data indicates warm layer aloft is cooling and becoming more favorable for sleet production in the Metroplex. #txwx #dfwwx

I'm seriously not getting my hopes up. GFS and Euro both not looking like it.

After dropping to 32.1 it has risen to 33.4 in Heath, which is fine so we don't get freezing drizzle/rain. 0.12 thus far and I'm not expecting much more than that.
