Heavy snow falling right now. All of the students are getting really antsy, hoping for an early release.

Bwaaaahahahahahahahaaaaaa! What a joke, a sick one.

Too bad, Portastorm. I drove to work in a snowstorm here in Houston. Saw dozens of small semi-melted flakes (more like graupel). I was able to make it to the office, though.

The snow is moderate, with large nickel-sized flakes, in The Colony.

I don't see this getting any better before people drive home from work this evening. Not when it is suppose to snow for another couple of hours and the temp is showing 14 here at the house. Image

I am not a meteorologist, and any posts made by me are not official forecasts or to be interpreted as being intelligent. These posts are just my opinions and are probably silly opinions.

This is the heaviest I have seen in a while. I wonder if our district is going to release early. Also what are the chances we see more tomorrow? Are high is now 32 degrees for Friday.

SNow just keeps redeveloping to the west, this is somewhat similiar to the event that happened in 2009. Calling for one to two inches and we ended up getting 12. Don't see that happening today, but with 2 inches already on the ground, 3-4 inches isn't out of the question and a huge mess on freeways. Temps top out in the 20's today.

Yeah, same here! We must live fairly close to each other. It's been a very slow process down here, but we're finally getting the action now.

Back to smaller flakes in Heath, radar has a good band setting up in east central Dallas county, hopefully it moves right over us.

This is great, I expected flurries at best with these temperatures.

It looks like more snow is building towards the northwest around Wichita Falls. Interesting to see how this snow keeps backbuilding

Everyone including teachers are doing nothing right now. So some classes are just giving us free time.
