the trough NE of the storm have any affect on the track of the storm

The thing to note is how its bending behind her which will change her course such as the one a week ago did Fabian and that is help pull Isabel towards that wnw and nw direction.............BTW that feature off the SE coast will aid or should help do the same with Isabel..................Her westward movment is just about if not finished for now imo!
