What Letter of the Alphabet Will We Make it to this Year?
I think we will make it to "G"
Since we've already had "A", I don't we will have anything in July, far too dry and too much SAL out there.
I think mid to late August will produce letters, B and C, September will product D, E, and F and October will produce G.. before it winds down...
Disclaimer: This is only an opinion, arrived at by speculation and current conditions.....

I still think we will get to 10 named storms, so the letter "J". I foresee more homegrown storms will spin up off the SE U.S. coast or into the GOM. Eventually, I think the western Caribbean will become favorable by the latter 1/3 of the season. The developing El Nino really will likely keep conditions not conducive for development across the MDR for most of this season. We may be able to squeeze out a named storm or two out in the MDR during August into the first week or two of September.

NEVER, EVER SAY NEVER in the tropics and weather in general, and most importantly, with life itself!!

At least the letter "O". A lot of season yet and the Cape Verde season hasn't really begun. I'm betting on several named fish storms this year.

Up to K. I believe the area off SE U.S coast/Between The Bahamas and Bermuda will be the hot spot for developments.

I think we will get to L. One at the end of July. 4 in August. 5 in September. And 2 in October and November.

I'm not as bullish as some of you are on this season....But we'll see how the cards all play out.

Even though I predict only making it to "G" this year, I do think there will be a couple of additional tropical depressions that just don't make it to storm status...
So even if I we only hit B and C in August, with an additional depression thrown in, that would still give us 3 systems in August and if we get an additional depression in September that would give us 4 systems in September which is still pretty active..

Well, there was already a Hurricane Nana in 1990, and a Tropical Storm Nana in 2008, and I don't remember many jokes about them.

Marco is my best guess as I think conditions might be better shear wise but a little lacking in the instability department but better than last year outside of the MDR

I am going to guess "H"
