Stupid Question: Delmarva Peninsula

Here's a stupid question: What is the Delmarva Peninsula? Is it the area around Virgina Beach north of Hatteras?

Its the area where Virginia Maryland and Deleware border

Virginia Beach is not in Delmarva.

Delmarva is all of Delaware, and the portions of Maryland and Virginia EAST of the Chesapeake Bay.

Don't feel bad Steve, you'd be amazed how many people think Delaware IS part of Maryland.

Mar = Marylana,
Va = Virginia
