The data for the models at the 00z run will be important

The gulfstream jet will be flying later tonight and the data that it will send then the Global models (GFS,NOGAPS,UKMET and GFDL) will have a more precise data collected and the next 00z run will be very interesting so let's wait for it later tonight.

The 00Z models are run at 8pm right? I suppose the 5am advisory will be the most important thus far....

Yea can't wait until those new models runs come out the first ones shall be out around 830 EDT time....
I rarely post on the board but usualy I am on chat over the next few days you may see more of my posts in these boards. Until than lets just enjoy the view of THIS CAT5 Hurricane on the Satillite.

These runs will also include the mid-level synoptic data from the WC-130J as well, correct?

It looks like the WC-130J is still flying at this time based on recon decode at: http://www.net-waves.net/weather/td13.php

Yes, last night's run did have the GiV data incorporated ... as the day wore on, of course, the data becomes less in future runs. The new GiV data to soon be incorporated into the model runs will be important.
