Breaking News: NHC CANCELS Hurricane Season

It's not even peak season yet. Chillax and enjoy the next couple of months; I think we're in for some surprises.

I feel for some reason that Hurricane Arthur was the real deal storm this season and that from here on out it will be a mediocre season with storms of similar quality as last season. Just my opinion though! :)

I personally think we'll see less storms this season, but things look like they could support maybe one or two major storms this season, either far out in the Atlantic or closer to home in the Gulf. Global activity was way down overall last year, and in all basins it seems to be off to a stronger start than last year. 2002 could be a good analog year, with several 'homespun' storms and only two storms forming in the MDR.

Its already a more quality season than last year, there weren't any cat 2s last year

Oh dear. They are cancelling the season before it has even begun. I will put it to boredom, Just sit tight and see what happens. :lol:
