COULD ISABELL FOLLOW A PATH SIMILAR TO GLORIA?

#1 Postby AussieMark » Sat Sep 13, 2003 9:51 pm

Does anyone think the Isabel could swipe North Carolina and head off to hit Long Island similar to Gloria in 1985.

Imagine that Big Gray wrote that 1985 was a September Analog year.

The one difference between this one and Gloria if it takes the same track is the fact that this probably will be much stronger than Gloria(which had weakened to a weak cat 1 at landfall)

Also the sympnotic setup for izzy will be much diffrent than that which was in place wiht gloria..........IMO, shift Glorias track about 200-300 mi to the west and you have izzys track.......
