An area of low pressure located about 1350 miles east-southeast of
the Big Island of Hawaii is producing disorganized shower and
thunderstorm activity. Upper-level winds are only marginally
favorable, and any development of this system should be slow to
occur while it moves westward at around 10 mph during the next few
days.

3. Disorganized showers and thunderstorms associated with an area of low pressure are located about 500 miles southeast of Hilo, Hawaii. Upper-level winds are not currently favorable for development of this system, and any development of this system should be slow to occur while it moves westward at around 15 mph.* Formation chance through 48 hours, low, 10 percent.
