Isabel weakening? No way...148 kts in NE eyewall...170 mph

Isabel's central pressure may have risen from 932 mb to 940 mb while crossing hurricane Fabian's upwelled water, but remains a very powerful hurricane....borderline cat 4/5..

On the last pass through the eyewall...recon found winds of 148 kts in the NE eyewall at flight level (10,000') -- or 170 mph. This equates to 153 mph at the surface...maybe no longer a cat-5...but a very large and intense monster....and strengthening is anticipated later today when the hurricane moves across warmer sst's west of 66/67W....probably back to a cat-5...for the third time :o :o

They might just keep here as Cat 5 at 5am, cuz she's looks like she's intensifying again.
