Our friends at GCWX have noticed what appears to be a little spin in gulf directly south of Louisiana, and I think I see it, too.
Does anyone else see it, too?

Re: Area directly south of Louisiana
It is deep enough and at the right time of the year to be watched.
I see a hint of curling too. Usually when the hurricane belt is negative this area surprises with a home brew.

Too weak. Eaten alive by prevailing negativity again.
The 94L remnants reconvected into a weak open wave in the east Caribbean.

I lost my low/mid level moisture map but I think there is a little more low level moisture west of 50 into the Caribbean.
There is a large cyclonic circulation over much of the BOC and western gulf extending onshore over Mexico. Development should be slow but the environment is a lot more moist in the Gulf.
