looks like some kind of cut-off low keeps pulling it NE, but the high keeps it moving west.. stuck.. then a little more west movement at 72hr.

I think the 12z GFS so far is in between its previous 06z & 0z runs, not as far left but not as far right.

.... I go away for 36 hours thinking that this thing is headed up to the Flemish Cap, and come back to King Euro and the GFS falling is step behind the HWRF and GEM that had this track 4 DAYs AGO.

Changing of the guard perhaps?

ok.. around 90hrs.. finally starts moving off to the NW.. it meanders from hour 24hr to 90hrs.. ugh.

If indeed 96L gets that close to the east coast of FL even if it does not make landfall it would be problematic for beach erosion for most of the east coast of FL especially the central eastern coast with such a slow pace getting out of the Bahamas.

This GFS Looks like a run through the Bahamas getting about as far west as Freeport, then out to sea.
