where it takes a sharp left over baltimore headed towards Pitsburgh

Yup, thats wat DT was talking about, as the ridge shoots it more W instead of North, this would save New Jersey a great deal of damage, however DC would be clobbered.

Models going out further than 72 hours creates such swings and variations. Not too sure I like the 144 hrs+ idea.

I believe PHL would be in the NE quad, or at least close enough for some serious rain and wind. Looks like it could cause problems from lets say PHL, S and E.

Being an old Marine, it is like the rifle range. If you are off on windage and elevation, you will not even hit the target at 500 meters. Too many factors over 72 hours.
