I'm not real sure now after looking at vis satellite loop. The pressures might be lower to the NE but the satellite presentation looks not so much.

Well, I'm 30 miles NE of Lake O, partly cloudy, gentle breeze, and a wonderful day...
Same here in Palm Beach Gardens, FL where there is nothing but clear blue skies looking west, but looking east you can see clouds/t-storm clouds trying to build offshore in the distance. Wouldn't even know there was a low pressure center at least 30mi. to the NW of me.

Oh my God! You're in the eye! Take cover immediately! Winds will be switching to the opposition direction soon and will be just as strong as when you entered the eye (5-10 kts).
the power center is to my west..dark clouds to the west..clear skies over head, dark clouds to the east...feels like an eye with the clear skies

tropical breezes, would expect some tstorms with this heating underway as the feeder bands

The Gulf Stream did nothing for this. And the center convection stack blew-off once it no longer had water under it to support it. The fact there is water on 3 sides should keep it going, however once it re-emerges into the Gulf the shear is forecasted to continue for another 24 hours.

I shouldn't encourage this because I'm a moderator but ... how did your lawn furniture hold up?

OK, we should get back to discussing the actual weather with 92L, if any.
But CYCLONE MIKE, that was pretty damn funny.

Re: ATL: INVEST 92L - Discussion
Shear doesn't look too bad in the SE GOM now - 10-20 kts. Still alot of convection to the south of the center. 92L could still get its act together once it emerges in the GOM. Would be slow to occur though since it needs to rebuild a convective core.

Once it enters the GOM the wind shear might not be all that bad.
