I believe that there is enough food and water here, the main problem will be impact from damage that was already caused from TS Fay. Winds are up to around 25-30 knots atm the moment and the sea is really picking up. Other than that it is looking like we will have a really nice sunset here this evening......
The UK has already sent HMS Argylle towards Bermuda for disaster relief so that is reassuring.

The winds aren't on the increase as yet but the barometric pressure is definitely falling:

Re: ATL: GONZALO - Hurricane - Discussion
Still holding on strong, though you can clearly see the trough to the west now on close-range satellite. I thought the structure looked more ragged but the last frame shows a very impressive core structure still hanging on. It's just about out of time to intensify further, but it's already tied Ophelia and Sandy at 940mb, so I'm rather impressed by how strong it got already anyway. Pressure up to 942 but wind at 145mph as of the intermediate advisory. Bermuda is going to take a beating, I fear. At this point, combined with its Caribbean impact, I think we may have seen the one and only use of the name Gonzalo in the Atlantic... what is it with replacement names being so bad lately anyway? Igor, Ingrid, Ike... well, actually, mainly just 'I' names then, heh.

Not a meteorologist, in fact more of an idiot than anything. You should probably check with the NHC or a local NWS office for official information.

My guess is they are moving the cam to a safer place or they have shut it down from now. But keep clicking to see if it appears.

Let's pray for those chasers that are in Bermuda like Jim Edds and our own Mark Sudduth (Hurricanetrack) that all goes well to them.

I was just talking to Jim and Mark - they're at the Grotto. I stayed there during my Igor intercept and it's a solid place. They might be hiding in the dining area if it hits as hard as we think it might however.
The really amazing part is that there's caves on the grounds so if things got really, really bad, its got the ultimate shelter.

Re: ATL: GONZALO - Hurricane - Discussion
All I can say is wow if this occurs. From 5 PM discussion.
Significant coastal flooding on Bermuda is likely if Gonzalo
continues on the current NHC forecast track. Although specific
amounts cannot be forecast for Gonzalo, Hurricane Fabian produced an
estimated 10 feet of storm surge when it moved over Bermuda as a
major hurricane in 2003, and similar values could occur with
Gonzalo.

The size and satellite presentation reminds me of Andrew 1992. It is getting the buzz saw look.

5pm unchanged, still 125kt/942mb. Yikes. Gonzalo may be a little stronger than Fabian when it comes in at this point... Fabian was apparently 105kt/950mb upon closest approach.
