I'll probably have to program storms into my hurricane tracking map on the computer and just fool around lol...

I'm with you on that one. It usually isn't untill Jan or Feb that I get to drag out my favorite winter coat- and then it's only for a few weeks.

Well, if Isabel is as devastating as it could be, we will be talking about the damage, the looting, the clean up efforts, the National Guard response, the people claiming they got no warning, and the press questioning NHC's lacking of proper forecasts, ad nauseum... :roll:

We managed to keep the group together all through last winter for the first time! This year we have some exciting stuff for our snowlovers (I'm not one of them) coming as well. We also have a regular Saturday night chat in the off-season just to stay in touch with each other. Let's also remember that we still have a lot of season to go! We may be on the downhill side of the peak but it still could get pretty interesting before it's over ;-)

This board is great year round and as has been said, there is still alot of season left for a couple of more good canes!! This is the season to break records so we may see them into November! :) and like Johnathan said, we always have football!!
