What's the chance?

What's the chance that the Storm2k Newsletter might feature a photo of one of us Storm2k'ers holding up a Storm2k sign, wearing a Storm2k hat, putting on our Storm2k license plate, or showing off our Storm2k loyalty in some way at various locations we live in, travel to, or travel through.

For example, there's a sign along I-8 heading toward California which simple reads "Sea Level" It's a God-foresaken area just into California where the only real thing happening is a prison.

I'd consider stopping at a place like that, put on a Storm2k cap, and have a picture made....with the chance to be highlighted in the newsletter.

I once did this with the weather organization I was involved with and got pictures from Death Valley, the Pacific Ocean, atop the Empire State Building, at Pirates of the Caribbean in Disney World, under the full eclipse at Cabo San Lucas, and even on the Golden Gate Bridge.

What's the chance?

At the very least, I'd buy a Storm2k hat just for that purpose. Nearing 1000 members, if each bought a Storm2k item, it would be a fundraiser?

That sounds pretty fun to me! I had a shirt, but when I moved I kinda misplaced it!

It may still be over at my dad's, I just have to find it! But I think it would be great to see our members in different places!

I like your idea, AZ, but how about also a picture with someone wearing all that and standing under an "Evacuation Route" sign?

Great idea, Steve! I think that we would all have
a great time with that, as, we have members
from many places in the world who could come
up with lots of fun shots for the newsletter!

Check the drawer with the car washing rags, Jacki Lynne! Sometimes those t-shirts end up in those kind of places.

I'm making a Storm2k sign to take with us to Maui next week (the 21st). Maybe we can use that to kick off the idea in the newsletter.
