Thia is an update straight from Dave's facebook page. It is good news!!! The war is not over yet but Dave and his slew of prayer warriors are winning!!
Just got back from chemo treatment #2 and this is what my oncologist report is as I stand today....
All lab cbc levels: excellent range
All chemo levels: excellent range
Mental level: beyond excellent
"David, the flying pig or anything you put your mind to will be done...you are beatng the cancer...radiation worked, tumors are distegrating. Chemo is working to date. Next treatment Oct 21
PET scan 2 weeks
85% now!!
Very happy and proud of you. Doc!

Hi there! I don't know what to say..rare moment in time...but "thank you all" for the well wishes and prayers these past few months. I knew I was sick had 21 xrays before a specialist here in Batesville IN picked up on the problem. Compressed vertabrae, L2, which at the tim3 would have paralized me from the waist down or if it had cut one nerve would have killed me...Id never known what hit me.
God stepped in, showed a team of doctors at St Vincent hospital in Indianapolis what to do and I was rushed into the city within 3 hrs of the discovery. Because of the location of the tumor I couldnt be operated on so they started radiation treatments in 4 hrs after arrival. Yes I was overwhelmed to say the leas5. After 28 radiation treatments into 3 areas of cancer it was confirmed today those tumors are shrinking!!!
I had my 2jd cycle of 4 on chemo today and all those levels are normal also. I am in a wheelchair to get around but was able to stand and put some pressure on my legs today!
I am coming back...i have been told this is unbeatable cancer...bs..God and I are sending this ugly disease back into the hole itvcame from forever. I refuse to give up! I refuse to go quietly into the night and I will beat this!
As David said Im on facebook...add me...Dave Rayner. I post all updates there several times a day. Ok time to stop writing eyescare hurting but had to jump in and let you all know h9w much you mean to me! On phone only but should have laptop here a5 rehab ce ter this weekend. Thanks all!! DAVE

Just found out about this; just read this whole thing. Dave I went from heartbroken to happy in 5 minutes! There you go, pal! Much of it is in the mind and if you can beat it there your body will follow. Keep it up, pal. I am praying for you all the way.

New update on his Facebook page that he has more cancer in his lungs and drugs aren't doing much but he is not giving up from what I am reading hopeing I am not reading it wrong let's continue to support him anyway we can
