Hey Dave-pray for us too cause we also need it lol. Lotza drama in our family's lives and personal. We're all in it together as humans ya know?

Take advantage of those meds and be pain/guilt/pressure free. Camp out in the backyard one night with young relatives.....you can teach them things about nature. Tell them stories about you. They will love it!

Dave was taken back to the hospital 2 days ago. He is not doing well, but is still with us as of the following post on his FB page.

I called Batesville hospital about Dave Rayner he is still with us he is in special care unit. But they couldn't tell me how he is doing because of I not on the list. But that's ok he is still with us.

Please continue to keep Dave in your thoughts and prayers as he fights for his life.

Aw man, I just saw this thread. So sad to be reading this. Sending prayers out to Dave and his family. He was always such an awesome guy and great contributor to our little weather nerd community we have here.

This is directly off of Dave's FB page from an hour ago.

I'm David's only aunt and my husband is David's mother's only brother. I just wanted David's many friends to know that David is still holding on to life. Larry and I visited yesterday and his family has been told that he is very near to the end of his life by hospice nurses. David has fought the good fight and is still fighting so please continue to pray that he stays as comfortable as we think he has been the pass few days. His parents and his sister can use prayers also.

I received another update. I post it exactly as it came to me.

Wanted to update you on Dave Rayner. I went to visit him today. He is desperately trying to cross over. His Mom and Dad are there with him, wanting their privacy. I have been a friend of David's since grade school. I did get to see him for a few minutes. He is sedated and only aware of what is going on inside his soul right now. Prayers please to help make his transition.
