If anyone is interested. It's the storm that came ashore in WPB, Fl and flooded Lake Okeechobee. It started at 8 pm

Whoever is running the circus aka TWC needs to be shot. There is a very strong cat3 that is almost 100% certain to make landfall in the east later this week and they are showing specials of storms that occurred 80 years ago. This is why I don't like Jim Cantore...

Jim Cantore has no control over the network broadcasting "Storm Stories."

I have the book "Killer Cane". Awesome book. It goes into a lot of detail about some of the families that were caught in the flood. Also the history and
way of life then.

I think it's entirely appropriate for them to be showing documentaries of previous hurricanes right now. For the average person (read: viewing audience), there is not enough happening hour-by-hour to justify the kind of constant coverage you seem to want for Isabel. Freaks like us can get all the details we want at any time on the web, no need to subject the entire US to the boredom. Now as it approaches shore, of course the coverage should and will increase, but right now there's nothing of particular interest that's going to happen that can't wait til the next hourly update.

Actually WPB got hit by a Cat 3 cane in 1948. It's been 54 years since we've had a major cane hit.
