I expect to see photos of Wxman 57 all bundled up and on his evening bike ride with snow flurries and sleet pellets bouncing off his helmet! :D

:uarrow: The forecast in northern Arkansas might have been a little less than advertised, but I talked to a friend of mine in Claremore, Okla. a short while ago and he said they had about five inches on the ground there, two of it being sleet.

Looks like the chance of seeing snow or flurries for the metroplex is fading as they expect the snow to sublimate before reaching the ground. All of our ice has melted finally with is reaching 35 today and sun. Looks like a warm up this week before it trying to get cold again.

FWD already talking about the next fail

DEPENDING ON WHAT THE UPPER LEVEL PATTERN EVENTUALLY
EVOLVES INTO...THERE COULD BE LINGERING PRECIP CHANCES THROUGH
THE REMAINDER OF THE WEEKEND AND INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK. THE ECMWF
SOUNDINGS SUGGEST THAT THE ATMOSPHERIC PROFILES WILL BE COLD ENOUGH
FOR POSSIBLY SOME SNOW. WILL MENTION A RAIN/SNOW MIX ACROSS THE
NORTHERN HALF OF THE REGION SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY BUT THIS
POTENTIAL EVENT IS STILL 6-8 DAYS OUT AND THERE ARE LIKELY TO BE
CHANGES TO THE FORECAST BEFORE THEN.

Sunday Night And Monday Mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of rain and snow. Lows in the mid 30s. Highs in the mid 40s.

So you're saying there's a chance? All we can hope for is the moisture holds on for at least something to admire falling from the sky. I leave for work at 4 in the morning, it would be nice to see it fall as I drive.

If those maps verify, that would mean a I-30 and I-20 ice-snow storm.

I'm getting tired of all this snow in the Houston area. Time for summer! I don't see any overly-warm days on the horizon though.

Yes, the PWC mets have a propensity for 80s hair metal. Now you know. The views also explain the shoddy work effort and forecasting.

A few light sleet pellets hit my car on my way home from work this evening in Hutto. Hopefully a sign of things to come.

There was some light rain here earlier that briefly changed to sleet then stopped. I've been taking notice of the coloration of the clouds this afternoon. Very pretty.

Just had about 30 minutes of really light sleet. Sounded really cool hitting the trees.
