The forecast in northern Arkansas might have been a little less than advertised, but I talked to a friend of mine in Claremore, Okla. a short while ago and he said they had about five inches on the ground there, two of it being sleet.

Looks like the chance of seeing snow or flurries for the metroplex is fading as they expect the snow to sublimate before reaching the ground. All of our ice has melted finally with is reaching 35 today and sun. Looks like a warm up this week before it trying to get cold again.

SOUNDINGS SUGGEST THAT THE ATMOSPHERIC PROFILES WILL BE COLD ENOUGH
FOR POSSIBLY SOME SNOW. WILL MENTION A RAIN/SNOW MIX ACROSS THE
NORTHERN HALF OF THE REGION SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY BUT THIS
POTENTIAL EVENT IS STILL 6-8 DAYS OUT AND THERE ARE LIKELY TO BE
CHANGES TO THE FORECAST BEFORE THEN.

There was some light rain here earlier that briefly changed to sleet then stopped. I've been taking notice of the coloration of the clouds this afternoon. Very pretty.

Just had about 30 minutes of really light sleet. Sounded really cool hitting the trees.
