Hey now! I've posted two albums this week of the winter weather we have been having! I'll post some photos of this event once work is completed.

Again it looks like the RGEM is as good or better than any other model on this storm. We will see what the storm totals are going to end up being.

1.40" now in Weatherford. Still snowing.

This will be my last post for a while. I'm fixing to head off to do some skiing at "Ski Weatherford"!

I can't post pics here, but if someone else wants to post one for me, you can email me at c_mcilroy at att dot net.

I'd say there's a good 1/2 to 3/4 of a inch so far on the cars and trash cans

The Bookend Winter:

@RyanMaue: So, we had coldest in four-decades so early in winter back in November ... now coldest in 35-years+ so late in winter. Bookend Barney.

Just got home from picking up son from school and roads are completely covered (199 between Azle and Springtown/northern Weatherford) and still moderate to heavy snowfall. This seems to be worse conditions from the winter storm earlier this week, but I'm just an observer, not a professional.

@NWSLubbock: 13.1" of snow for the season in Lubbock. Normal is around 8". This makes it the 15th snowiest winter so far. #lubwx http://t.co/tqOjjkcRe5

@Ntxw -- you rock! If I can't have snow, at least I can celebrate with my friends as they think of me. Very nice and I appreciate it.

@Ralph's Weather -- the RGEM did well perhaps in that part of the state but not well at all down here. It showed snow/sleet for portions of south central Texas and that didn't happen. In fact the RGEM was the only model of which I am aware which suggested this outcome.

Thanks everyone for the photos.

It's really bad in Fort Worth #LakeShoreDrive #Atlanta

The worst thing right now would be the schools deciding to all close early.

Officially DFW has 0.5 inches of snow thus far

Is it me, or is the radar showing blues popping up in and north of San Antonio? It looks like more blues are popping up to the west of San Antonio. I'm still holding out hope!

I would post a radar image, but I am not sure how to do that. What program do you use to post images, just in case I have a snow pic to show now or later? :cheesy:

Good radar returns coming through the heart of DFW, should be bigger flakes
