Ugh, I hate severe weather season! These winds look nasty. Stay safe, everyone.

Must have a lot of issues there from wind/hail:

This little storm has outdone itself, tons of rain has fallen and it seems like a house was struck by lightning, I could hear the police cars and Fire trucks from my house.

Winds weren't that bad here in in Cedar Hill. Maybe 50 mph? Nothing damaging. Power has went off and on several times, though.

Just saw a photo of nearly baseball sized hail (or the person displaying it had a small hand), reportedly in N Fort Worth.

I am so confused. Where are the storms here in Austin that I kept hearing about all day from all the tv stations that were going to happen this afternoon, this evening, tonight? I'm glad not to see what happened in North Texas but I'm puzzled that it hasn't even rained and looks like it may not.

Some heavy rain but very light wind here. Looks like Highway 80 is getting the worst of the storm. Gilmer is air to get hit big time.

I am lost too. They hyped this thing, and all the models showed a line coming through around the 8pm hour. Thankful to not get the mess north Texas got, but RAIN would be nice.

We did get 0.4 this morning in the gauge, so not all a "wash." (pun intended).

We got .9" on this side of town so I'm not complaining about that. I don't know if it's the new language they are using, more reliance on models or just plain hype but I think it's soon going to be a case of people thinking they're calling wolf too many times and start 'believing it when they see it' with storms. Which for some people could be leaving it too late.

This morning the tv news was saying the second round would start after 2. Then I heard around 5-6. Then 9-midnight.
