Tweet from All Access Weather. Looks - to me at least - as if current movement will keep this tornadic supercell south of Stephenville and most of the Metroplex.

Re: Texas Spring-2015
Sitting at my ranch in northern Shackelford county watching an impressive funnel. Too far away to tell if it is on the ground or not. I'm trying to decide if I should run or take cover.

Re: Texas Spring-2015
If that storm stays together looks like Stephenville may get large hail for the second time in three days

Per NBC Five's Twitter feed, the tornadic circulation appeared to be directly over May (population 285 in 2000).

Johnny Kelly's Twitter feed quotes NWS (from public reporting) that the tornado in Brown County has been on the ground for at least 10 minutes.

Re: Texas Spring-2015
Okay so, I've noticed that the cell north of abilene is starting to become embedded in a cluster or line of storms oriented SSW to NNE. Is this the beginning stages of what is supposed to become the southeastward-moving derecho that was mentioned earlier?

Not yet, northeast movement overall it seems. A bigger line will form late this evening further west. HRRR is depicting a few more supercells (one over the same area being hit now, Brown, Erath, Comanche counties etc. However HRRR is not the best model of late.
