Larry Mowry continues to point out a circulation with debris signature in/near Grandview. May even be drifting a bit to the N/NW?

Significant hook echo moving towards Hillsboro. Photo on Channel 11 from a storm chaser showed a strong stovepipe/cone near Blum earlier.

Something tells me that some dissertations will be written over this tornado/hail/flash flooding event in the years to come.

And I'd bet that tonight's weather will be studied for years to come.

Unreal night.

I hope - I can only hope and pray - that first light tomorrow reveals that not much damage has happened.

Unfortunate;y 4/26 is living up to it's infamous name. It's almost bad enough to call this day a curse if there are storms forecasted on it.

Storms are bowing out near Hillsboro. Would think that would eventually choke off the moist inflow into the tornadic storm near Grandview.

One can only hope and pray that a tornado - even a weak one - has not been sitting and grinding over and near Grandview for the last half-hour or more?

May not be the most impressive tornado's I have seen, but following this supercell across Johnson county all evening that has got to be one of the most intriguing, intense, and odd moving super cells to track.
