It's been incredible to watch here in Cedar Hill. The lightning, thunder...it's intense. I haven't seen anything like this in a long time. It feels like we're just miles away from hell on Earth.

PLEASANTON...MOVING EAST AT 45 MPH.

HAZARD...TORNADO.

SOURCE...RADAR INDICATED ROTATION.

IMPACT...FLYING DEBRIS WILL BE DANGEROUS TO THOSE CAUGHT WITHOUT
SHELTER. MOBILE HOMES WILL BE DAMAGED OR DESTROYED.
DAMAGE TO ROOFS...WINDOWS AND VEHICLES WILL OCCUR. TREE
DAMAGE IS LIKELY.

Squall line moved through here around 1:15 am this morning. Wind gusts to 50 mph(?) (eyeball estimate) with some heavy rain and some lightning/thunder, with mostly light to moderate rain after that for an hour or so. No hail. Gauge shows 0.4. I thought for sure we got at least 0.75.

Thankful for the rain, and thoughts and prayers to those in North Texas that were bombarded by relentless storms the past couple days.

It looked to me that the lead storm at Rio Vista developed into a meso low pressure, grabbed the storms behind it and slung them around, and formed the squall line. Never seen anything like it.
