Metroplexers should keep an eye to the sky this afternoon. Tornado warning for Ellis county. It's not taking much for these cells to spin.

You're not kidding. All of these storms that are popping up are quickly taking on that supercell look.

Law enforcement reporting tornado on the ground 4 miles NE of Waxahachie and west of Palmer as per Channel Four in DFW.

Confirmed tornado NW of Wichita Falls near Harrold, moving towards SW Oklahoma.

Confirmed, large tornado passed very near Grandfield, Okla. (population 1,038) per several spotter reports. Was reported SW of town, west of town, and now NE of town, so no idea if it went through the small community or not. Moving NE at 15 mph, could potentially threaten the OKC metro area later this evening.

And it still doesn't include DFW?? That Palo Pinto storm could easily right turn right into the metro. Why not just include the metro in the watch at least?

I'm not sure, there could be sinking air over DFW that is making them hesitate. I'm not sure why Tarrant County isn't included since Denton and Parker County are both included.
