Ummm... in five days it will be well over land, then, it would be a surprise, imho, if is clasified overland. Am I right?

Through 5 days not in 5 days :D :D

the best looking invest I have ever seen with 50MPH winds....I just don't get it. The plane is in there at the right time more towers firing up around the center.

5 days include the time between now and 48 hours .. thus 90 + 0 = 90

It seems to have slowed down. Either that or the convection is throwing me off a bit.

I am at a loss for words. Just, I have nothing. I have never in my born life seen the NHC skip an advisory period (5 PM) and then see a 50 MPH, well whatever it is, not be named, then spend forever and a day trying to find some semblance of a defined center of whatever it is. Man, this is one weird storm.

OK maybe one of the pro mets can chime in here and explain what happened as I thought for sure with that data it would have been at least upgraded to a depression

Not a conspiracy theorist, but maybe Jade Helm has something to do with this.

I'm really finding it hard to believe they're waiting this long to initiate advisories. Like, genuinely shocked. I think I can understand in nearly every other case of delayed classification, but this has me absolutely mystified. Either they know something no one else does, or they lost the key to the big red "Initiate Advisories" switch two days ago.

This thing almost looks better than Hurricane Carlos does at the moment! What gives??

Colors of lost purpose on the canvas of irrelevance

Not a meteorologist, in fact more of an idiot than anything. You should probably check with the NHC or a local NWS office for official information.
