Live---ChaserUK jumping around on VA Beach LOL

#1 Postby ncweatherwizard » Thu Sep 18, 2003 9:16 am

Local TV shows him jumping around on Oceanfront with an anemometer. He's on right now. Wait, authorities are currently out there getting he and his partner off the beach---this is live by the way.

Gusts sporadically up to tropical storm force now here in Gates Co.

In Manteo, on Roanoke Is. on the northwest end of the island, water has rushed out of the harbor prior to the center's passing.

I'm down here with ChaserUK. It's him plus two others from the UK. We haven't had any authorities tell us to get off the boardwalk. They just drive by without even saying a word. Several other people are out on the boardwalk also just experiencing Isabel.

That wasn't?---good. Do you know who it was? They seemed to indirectly imply that is was the same people from last night's interview---but anyway the news is in pandemonium. But I did see you last night on TV. I'm about 45 minutes southwest of you; just to give you an idea.

Enjoy, ChaserUK! Yes, you will not have the eye pass over you, but you will definitely get some serious wind and rainy conditions this afternoon.

Stu is Stu from UKww and ChaserUK is ChaserUK. (I'm from the UK and know them both by the way... wish I could have been with them!)

Not spent enough time browsing here yet  so I'll have good look round, looks excellent though! :D
