Its getting pretty bad here

#1 Postby seahawkjd » Thu Sep 18, 2003 6:37 am

The weather station went down so I'm not sure what the winds are blowing at but they are gusting probably to 50 60 mph. We've had one limb hit the house but no damage. The rain is really coming down. The pressure here is 29.29 inches. On a very sad note, our dog of 8 years had a heart attack and passed away this morning as well. There was nothing we could do...

I am so sorry to hear about your dog.
It is starting to get nasty here also and you are closer to the coast than I am so bet it is getting ruff there. Last I checked they were saying Moorehead was getting gusts in the 50's so wouldn't be surprised if your getting some close to 60.

Be safe and keep dry.

Sad

I too am sorry to hear about your dog.

Funny. It's always no big deal to kill off people in movies, but don't mess with the animals! I feel terrible for you, your dog, and your stress from the storm.

Be safe.

I am so sorry and feel so sad about your precious pet. Was it the storm, do you think, that frightened him? I always worry that will happen to our aminals whenever a bad thunderstorm rolls in...they are petrified to the point that I fear for their lives.

Stay safe.

Stay safe and I'm really sorry to hear about your dog. Just last year we had a similar situation.

I am so sorrryabout your dog.
what a horrible thing to happen at any time but especially in the middle of a storm
I know whenever I have gone through canes, I think Ii worry more about my dogs than I do anything else.
Be safe and get through this day as quickly as you can

If I lost my dog, it would bother me more than if I lost my house. Houses can be rebuilt.

Please keep us posted as to what is happening at your location.
