It is wierd..You have heard of dirty/wet High pressure..well seems we have a clean/dry Low pressure/trough..

"High Pressure can be cloudy and Low Pressure can be sunny..weather is funny stuff.. "

Profound or Not..it's a fact..sorry I don't have a more articulate detailed answer for ya. I don't like going into detail on something that could very well be baloney as I am still learning the daily and yearly patterns here in the Florida tropics...which is a long ways from the land of 10,000 lakes.

NP Aquawind. Lynn said pressure at Naples today is 29.88, too, so it seems to be a phenomenen all along the Fla. west coast. Oh well.....

Local mets here said that Isabel is what brought us this cooler and drier weather the past few days. Maybe she is contributing to the pressure falling in Florida.

The pressure was 29.81 inches here this afternoon.

It was 0.1 of an inch higher, when Isabel was about 600 miles ESE of Cape Canaveral, Florida earlier this week.

You guys talking about me??? Yes, it has been gorgeous here but I wish the pressures would go up just a little. What could be better-living in FL, no Isabel and tomorrow is Friday. Whatever will we do all weekend with our "girlfriend" gone?
