Thanks for all the well wishes. We're ok so far. Went out this morning and bought one of those portable B&W TV's, just in case we lose power.Had a radio, but figured it would only entertain the kids for so long, lol. It has just started to drizzle here and the wind is kicking up. Been keeping busy taking pics every couple of hours, finishing laundry and just making sure I have everything done by tonight, when it's supposed to get bad here. Also checking in here once in a while-it's like having a life line, and I'm glad I found this site. Hubby called a little while ago, and says they are keeping him until Saturday. Best wishes to everyone else who is going to bearing the effects of this storm.

I wish that it was still light out to see what's going on.
I took a peak at the waves down in Atlantic City as I was leaving work today. Thy were really high and breaking offshore. Quite a sight!!!

Not a lot of action here. It's breezy and we had a few periods of rain. Seems that most of the rain is south and west of here. We'll see about tomorrow.
Our power went out for about 15 seconds and then came back on. Just enough to crash the 'puter and make all the clocks start flashing. Shucks, I was hoping to take tomorrow off work. Maybe there's still hope for some action.

This space for rent.
Things did not get too bad in my area. Overnight, we lost power for maybe a minute. We had wind gusts between 45 and 50 MPH overnight, and I believe we picked up only an inch of rain or so. Driving to work this morning, there was a lot of leaves and twigs/small branches on the roads. One road I normally use was closed because of a fallen tree. But all in all, it was not too terrible. I did not see any houses or cars damaged (including my own
).
