There is a picture of a not so smart woman with her 11 year old son watching the waves destroy the pier in Leonardtown, MD. I haven't called my grandmother yet, she is in White Plains, MD. The woman doesn't seem to have much common sense to be that close to the pier in the midst of what was going on.

I am assuming they are all out of power. My grandmother, aunt and father don't answer the phone. I don't know if the area got hit too bad except with the tides. Maybe if Drezee logs on he can give input, he is in the area.

Hi I spoke to a friend in ELDSBERG MD (same county that Westminster is in) and their power is out. One difficulty is that people don't realize you have to use the old fashion CORDED phones with the power outage

Alicia - I live in Harford county, two counties over from Carroll where Westminster is. The power is still out for a large portion of the area, still over 250k as of this morning. Power is supposed to be restored no later than Friday for pretty much everybody
