Seeking help for STORM2k

#1 Postby Guest » Tue Sep 16, 2003 9:07 pm

As everyone knows - Storm2k has grown by leaps and bounds this last month. For the month of September we will probably go over our bandwidth for the site.

This site is advertising free - on a reliable server and is very user friendly - which this type of service costs us money. So I am asking for DONATIONS from those that want to help defer the costs of running this message board and site.

If you wish to donate via PAYPAL - go to http://www.paypal.com. Send it to pdherman@ev1.net If you wish to send funds snail - please send me a PM.

Thanks,
Storm2k Admin - Patricia, Chad and Marshall

Hi, this is my first post. I'm not nearly as knowledgeable about weather as most of the people on this site. I've learned more by reading the postings here today than from watching the Weather Channel for a week.

This site is a great resource for all of us who want to know what is really happening in real time. I'd be willing to give a little support, probably a lot of others here would too.

You might as well post the PayPal address so people can chip in :)

Ticka, can I send some in a couple of weeks? Things are tight right now, but will be picking up by then. If things are desparate, let me know.

Great question, msbee. After Isabel, I'm sure we'd all be interested in being identified with the storm 2k board. Anything that will help this wonderful board.

Ticka, I'm just waiting for my Paypal account to get funded and money will be on the way. It cleared my checking account so I should have the credit by Monday.

We do get a small commission from the Storm2k store. We thought it was a great way to help fund the store and let people show their colors at the same time. :-) On October the 7th all the Inaugural Member (1st year) stuff will go away forever! :-) I'll try and come up with a "I Survived Isabel at STORM2K!" shirt this week-end :-)
