finished another portrait for someone in IN. was a real challenge since the reference pic was a bad low resolution scan. thought some of you might you enjoy seeing the final product. for those thinking this was going to be about France, the little girl's name is "Paris". isn't she a cutie! p

actually, i hired a group of elves to do the job for me but they went on strike over a contract dispute shortly after starting so i was left to finish it.

yep, no smoke and mirrors, this is what i do and have been doing for nearly ten years. i average about 3 - 4 medium sized detail pieces like this a month. if you add in other creative works such as sketches, little drawings, paintings and constructed items, altogether i average about 10 creations a month. my studio is full of works the world will probably never see. thanks to all for the kind words... :)

We're still enjoying Emma's picture. Your work has brought a lot of raves to some folks here in Phoenix and San Diego!

Nice job Paul.

OMG, that's beautiful. You know how to capture the spirit of the subject.

Actually, I commissioned Paul to draw my grandkids and myself.

He really has his work cut out for him.

Thanks Poppysky. The Pawlee creation of Emma really made me realize what a talent we had amongst us.

Excellent work, pawlee! 8-) I can barely draw a stick figure, so I am absolutely amazed by what you can do. :)
