Just so you know, Linda had a pressure of 902 which is the record to beat for the basin.

This has to be the most impressive storm ever in the Western Hemisphere.

Well, we are about to find out hopefully from Recon. This is the most anticipated Recon mission for me since Wilma for sure.

As 1900hurricane alluded earlier, they are hitting her at her best. Invaluable data, not just for this system but how we compare other systems (particularly WPAC) as if they had recon. We don't see systems in the whem with this kind of presentation often, if ever.

Also, the NHC has been running research missions and has been dropping sondes around the storm. Invaluable data, you're right!

There is a decent chance Patricia could be just as low. Also a plausible chance it could beat Linda's EPAC record as well. It is going to be close.

Recon aside, I'd say this is 155-160 knots.

This has to be the most anticipated Recon pass ever in the EPAC...and in a long time overall.

It's grown in size too...hurricane force winds look to go out about 60-70 miles now.

I'm seeing a lot of 01 error in the recon, what does that mean and could that be due to extreme turbulence

Looks like they are having temp/dew point issues.
