Some Saturday thoughts...

Well Isabel is gone and surprisingly there is nothing behind her. We have a little over 2 months left in the season so it could still be kinda busy. I think we will have at least 1 more storm before October 1st.. but I also think the Atlantic tropical season is about to shut down and any further development we have will be in the Caribbean or Gulf.

We here in Florida dodged bullets with Erika and Henri.. Erika wasn't "erika" when she came on shore.. and Henri was barely a TD..

These last 2 months and 10 days should be interesting.

I agree with you too, Josephine. Unfortunately, Florida won't be able to dodge those bullets forever.

Coming from you that makes me worried... I still remember your old signature..and have to agree Florida has been very lucky..That luck can hold but will it :o It will definately be an interesting next couple of months. BTW John I agree too :wink:

Us Floridans have to watch out for these Carribean systems that get picked up by troughs and shoot them north east. Like how we were visited by Irene in 99.

Yep.. Irene came to Florida that way... Gabrielle came to Florida that way.. and JOSEPHINE came to Florida that way...
